Meaningful Award from the Women-Friendly Brands Platform for ÜÇGE
ÜÇGE has been honored with an award by the Women-Friendly Brands Platform within the scope of the 6th International Women-Friendly Brands Awareness Awards, held this year under the theme “Value for People, the Planet, and the Future.” ÜÇGE received the award in the category “Women’s Employment and Equal Opportunities in Business Life” for its project titled “Women at Work, Power at Work.”
Organized annually since 2021 during International Women’s Day week, the program recognizes brands that contribute to gender equality awareness, advocate for women’s rights, and implement projects that support women’s empowerment in economic and social life.
This year, all applications first underwent a preliminary review and technical evaluation by the Women-Friendly Brands Platform project team. Projects that successfully passed this stage were then carefully assessed by an independent jury of 23 members. Chaired by Prof. Dr. Itır Erhart, Dean of the Faculty of Communication at Istanbul Bilgi University, the jury consisted of experts from academia, business, media, and civil society. Following the evaluation process, a total of 30 projects across different categories were deemed worthy of awards.
ÜÇGE’s “Women at Work, Power at Work” project, which aims to increase women’s employment and promote equal opportunities in the workplace, was among the awarded initiatives. The project was particularly appreciated by the jury for supporting women’s participation in technical production fields and enabling them to build careers in professions they previously had limited access to.
At the award ceremony held as part of the program, ÜÇGE Human Resources Director Seda Nur Akcan İncir took the stage following her speech and received the award together with the HR team.
In her remarks, Seda Nur Akcan İncir emphasized that ÜÇGE remains committed to developing projects that strengthen women’s representation in business life and to sustaining equal opportunity as a core element of the company’s corporate culture. She stated:
“We believe that a business world where women have a stronger presence in production, management, and decision-making processes is more sustainable and more successful for everyone. With our ‘Women at Work, Power at Work’ project, we are proud to be part of this transformation. This award is a meaningful recognition of the steps we are taking to make women’s labor visible and to strengthen equal opportunity.”
